The flickr rss is not running propperly. It means the css seams not exist or something: http://www.romankeller.ch

I’m having the same problem as Roman with the Flickr-stream. It shows the default Flickr-thumbnails but doesn’t apply any CSS to it (although the CSS is unchanged and seems correct in the CSS-file).

Oh, and another ‘problem’: you think it would be possible to change the ‘Lastest posts’ in the sidebar to ‘Related posts’ when you get to a single post? I have a related posts-plugin that I can use there, but I don’t know how to make the ‘Lastest posts’ disappear on single posts and replace it. Any help?

I’m trying to get some other Javascript working with fervens and am having issues. When I use FancyZoom by Cabel Sasser it seems to override the tabs javascript that is being used by the them. Does anyone have any idea how to make the the two co-exist nicely?

Ferevens is an absolutely superb piece of creative work. I really liked this theme.

I have been using another Blog platform and like others it does also have a theming support.

Now, I have some queries regarding theme usage.

I’ve ported this theme to work on my blog platform. I will be publishing my blog on this theme mid this week and I’m also planning to make it public to let as many possible people enjoy it.

Also, the theme has gone through very minor modifications on the CSS front for portability.

In the bottom of the page I’ve maintained the credits for distribution and download. I’ve also put additional credits with link to my blog for porting this theme to the new blog platform.

Do I need to consider anything else before distributing it out in public. I will publish a trial link in this post early next week for your demonstration.

Do let me know If I must/shall consider anything for ethical re-distribution of the theme..

first of all thank you for the beautiful theme :) just one question…if I choose to have a custom home page in wp 2.5 why I get 2 duplicated home pages in the navigation bar? I create the home page in wp, then I go in Settings > Reading >Front page display, I select the static page I’ve created, save and then I have 2 identical home page link in the top navigation bar. Can you help me? Thanx

Can you share us “Post Comment” psd file. I want to translate it in my language? I downloaded the fervens psd file but i couldn’t find it.

The Theme looks amazing, but I’ve got a problem with it.
After I uploaded the folder ferevens-a into my /wp-content/themes Path and activated ist, it doesn’t work!
My blog ist just looking like this, after activating the theme: http://www.marcboe.de/ferevens.png
All files are correctly uploaded and it’s been shown like this in ALL browsers I tried (Konqueror, Firefox and Safari [on a mac of a friend of mine])… :(

Anyone can help me??? :’( Would be so sad, if I couldn’t use this great theme! :(

I’m having a GUI error when I impliment Disqus. It’s showing 2 speech bubbles by the link instead of one. Any thoughts?

Update:
I just relized the erason the theme broke was because of an 600px width image in the post.

I fixed it manually by resizing the picture.
And if ever the plugin “imax” will be fixed for WP 2.6, then it could be added to theme – to protect it from breaking.

First, loving this theme. Rocks my socks off.

One thing I don’t like is how it strips white space out of the comments. Like if a commenter wants to leave an empty line in a comment it gets ripped out when displayed.

Unfortunately, I’m not a WP or PHP guru, so I don’t know how to find and disable whatever function is stripping out those tags. Any help?

but i want to know how to customize some “pages” to display different plugins without SIDEBAR and in full width?

i duplicated a page.php and renamed it as “forum.php”, then “Manage–>Page”, aplly the “forum.php”. I didn’t display as that I wanted
Actually, i just want to remove two sidebar for the some special pages. But I copuln’t find any “get_siderbar.php” code line in this theme files.

Do siderbar codes included in header.php? Impossible to tweak that?

I am wondering how I can adjust the width of the middle part. I tried looking in the CSS but no matter what I try – it won’t change :-(

I have this theme and I have a very big problem. Some visitors reported a bug while using Internet Explorer 6, the sidebar shows in the footer of the page, can anyone help me solve this problem? It-s kinda urgent, thanks.

When can we expect the next upgraded version of this theme…i mean an upgrade with all the fixes…

I love this template and want to use it on my site, however I want to have some pages that only have the middle and right hand column, like my forum.

Looking at page.php it uses the tage for the_content() and i can not manage to remove sidebar1.

Can you advise how this might be possible?

I am working for an governemtal entreprise, I will have to propose 3 layouts for a website (Millenium2015) It will go over poverty, food, education etc) I would like to propose 2 of your themes, You are my mentor, but I need to change the colors (blue range need to be used) May I asking you if it is possible to have your photoshop file, all the copyrights will be preserved, I have to much respect for that an I know how much time it take to do this. On the Fervens demo page, the ordered list doesn’t have any numbers in front of each list item.

Wonderful theme, I am having issues with the lastest comments and tags buttons not working on the sidebar-2. Also when I updated the flickrss plugin with the html it spit out pages of characters in the sidebar where the flick pics are suppose to be. Having a curious issue with fervens-c in which it is breaking in Firefox-3.0.3 but only on the front page.

http://alicious.com/page/2/ works but http://alicious.com/ doesn’t float correctly and bumps the sidebars down to the bottom of the page.

Very weird. Works fine in Op, Konq (not checked IE). I’ve had a pretty thorough look through and all I can see that is in the front page is the highlight (by class current_page_item) on the “home” text in the top menu. However removing the whole “home” option from this menu doesn’t fix it.

Do you know of anything else specific to the home page that might cause this?

Another more thing, am I right in thinking that trackback sends you an email with details of access of ie.css?

Lastly, I’ve modded to add an extra sidebar-3 so that I can have dynamic sidebar elements above and below the standard ones, only need to add a bit of code to sidebar-X.php and change number in functions.php and then use widget positioning tool in site admin.

I have a couple of questions tho.

I have Spam Karma 2 and reCaptcha plugins on my site but when I use your theme they both disappear from the comments section. I looked at the source and it seems the code for those plugins doesn’t get inserted in the comments part.

Can you give me a little insight into this? I do have a little php experience and have successfully modified a few plugins to work with other themes but I mostly do hit and miss editing and I don’t want to break the whole blog just yet. :D

Great time, loved it! Using it for my blog now, and most people love the new design I put in as compared to the old one.

This is related to OLDER ENTRIES not working if PERMALINKS are used during a SEARCH.

update: I’ve just noticed that the problem occurs only on the home page. In all other pages, the theme is displayed flawlessly. Now I’m puzzled.

If I open any given article, the theme falls back into place. Whenever I get back to the home page, the sidebars are shifted under the middle column.

Hi, I’m loving this theme! So well made and so great to look at. I’d like to modify it to include some images – I’d like to have an owl peeking out above the Search panel (in Fervens-a). I’ve tried just modifying the image (search-top.png), adding my owl and making the image taller, but it doesn’t show. Have tried to work out what is what in the stylesheets but can’t work it out. Basically I can’t change this background image to one with different dimensions. I’d be really grateful for any tips!

I use Fervens A and love it! Just one problem…

Is anyone else having a problem creating captions when inserting images into the post? When I insert a image without a caption, I get a nice frame. When I insert a caption, the frame disappears and the caption is intermingled with the text. It’s hard to distinguish. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Great theme! How do I replace the title in the header with an logo? And what size would I need to make the logo?

Thanks for a great theme but can it be made liquid layout?

I did give it a go but a div that wraps around the left sidebar and then content causes the right sidebar to drop down on a liquid layout when browser window is made small.

This is at client request so if someone provides an exact way to do this I’ll just forward cash to you as a donation. I’m interested in helping my client get this done more than the money right now.

Fervens is one of my favorite theme. Most I like from this time is its color and customizable for the sidebar position.

I’m currently unable to find a widget for the “About” section to edit in either the Fervens A, B, or C variation under Appearance>Widgets>Sidebar 2. I don’t even see where it would be pointing in the source code. Can WordPress MU be causing my issue with the theme? If so, is there an easy fix for this?

I really like this theme and am using it to set up my membership site.
Is there a way to remove the Date, Author details from the post pages and also to remove the “Comments are closed” and “There are No Responses to…” text expressions from the posts as well?

I created a page template to use as my forum to remove sidebar-2 and need it to also increase the width of the center column.

I like DD theme. It’s unique and different than other theme. I use Ferven on my blog. I do little modification to meet with my need. Good work DD team
