DesignDisease Theme Released

Finally the old blue design has become a free theme called, what other than DesignDisease Theme. Many of you requested this theme from the time we first launched it on this website. So, when we redesigned the main site, we knew we knew we had to release it to the masses. For those who aren’t familiar with the old theme, it can be described as a dark, oceanic, with long curvy stripes. All shapes morphed to curves. You can download it here

The theme is fully widgetized as all our themes are. The plugins needed are included in the theme files so there is no need to download them again. After installing WP-Page Navi deselect the option of using the default css style for this plugin.

We have finally changed the design after 2 years of using the ocean blue theme. We didn’t change much from the original structure but we have a new design approach.

We evolved from the spectacular curves to the abstract world of straight lines and squares. We made the content a bit more visible by enlarging the portfolio images and designing on a much lighter background. We did not make this design to be “vintage” because we don’t want to look back. What we do with this new design is put forward a new way to use regular shapes.

Because of the release of this new design, we will release in a couple of days the previous theme (this one) as a Free WordPress Theme, which over the past couple of years, a whole lot of people have asked for. Stay Tuned!

DailyNote Theme Released

DailyNotes is our latest theme release. We wanted a theme for the every day person, It uses a dark background with a lighter background around the content. 2 columns and an area to link to your twitter account in the sidebar. You can download it here

The theme is fully widgetized as always. A special feature of this theme as we use in many of our themes is the logo changer. You can use the default WordPress setting (“blog name”) or you can use your own logo. Upload your logo in the root folder of the DailyNotes theme and name it logo.png or you can use the logo.psd as a template. You will find the source in the root folder of the DailyNotes theme.

Gadgetizer Theme Released

Gadgetizer is exactly what it sounds like it would be about. Gadgets. We wanted a simple theme that focused on the products themselves, so we have a big Flickr area in the footer section, as well as a mashup of images right below the featured post. As always, the front page has an easy to use “feature” section so you can easily put on display your most in-depth posts. You can even slot in a nice picture and a post excerpt to accompany the headline by editing the feature-image custom field and setting the category to “Featured”.

We kept it pretty similar in color scheme to the last design, with the colors white, blue, and green. Also we have included the psd files for the logo, robo girl, and for the gadgets snapshots.

The theme is fully widgetized. A special feature of this theme as we use in many of our themes is the logo changer. You can use the default WordPress setting (“blog name”) or you can use your own logo. Upload your logo in the root folder of Gadgetizer theme and name it logo.png or you can use the logo.psd as a template. You will find the source in the root folder of the Tipz theme.

This theme also has a large footer bar that includes a links section, Flickr photostream, and latest comments section. Because some people might not like this option, we also included in the theme options the ability to have this section not show up.

The theme is using a few plugins, with some already integrated into functions.php, so there is no need to install them. The only plugin you need to install manually is FlickrRSS. (FlickrRSS plugin is in the theme folder) (see the demo).

Tipz Theme Released

We wanted a good strong theme that could fit a wide variety of topics for Tipz, which mainly writes how-to articles among various other topics. The front page has an easy to use “feature” section so you can easily put on display your most in-depth posts. You can even slot in a nice picture and a post excerpt to accompany the headline by editing the feature-image custom field and setting the category to “Featured”. We always like our rounded corners, which give the theme a simple Web 2.0 feel.

LapOfLuxury Theme Released

Here is the third in our series of theme releases.

We made this theme custom for our Bloggy Network blog Lap of Luxury. We wanted a theme conveyed rich and glitzy. Gold in the logo, and white and black are used as the main colors in this 2 column theme. It contains a sidebar on the right that allows for a large square ad up top, and splitting into 2 columns below that. Comes fully widgetized

A special feature of this theme is the logo changer. You can use the default WordPress setting (“blog name”) or you can use your own logo. Upload your logo in the root folder of LapOfLuxury theme and name it logo.png or you can use the logo.psd as a template. You will find the source in the root folder of LapOfLuxury theme. CelebrityHQ Theme Released

Here is the second in our series of theme releases.

This theme screams celebrity. Blues and pinks dominate this design making it perfect for either your celebrity blog or any other topic that needs a bubbly personality. This blog theme is simply 2 columns and is fully widgetized

Money Theme Released

We decided to further tweak some themes we released the other day as we just weren’t happy with the final outcome :) Anyway, here the first one is rereleased. First up is……

Money Blog

Nothing says money more than the color green so here’s a theme for you. The front page banners a “feature” section so you can easily pimp headlining posts. Evidens, wordpress theme release

Compositio – WordPress Theme

We have finally done it! After a long time, we are releasing a brand new theme called Compositio. As some of you know, we name our themes based on Latin. Compositio is a two column theme, made to for those who want to put their content at the front with a unique light blue design. Random square shapes are the defining graphics of this theme. They are used throughout the background, bringing a special rhythm to the theme.

A special feature of this theme is the logo changer. ( Thanks to Munzir Rosdi). You can use the default WordPress setting (“blog name”) or you can use your own logo. Upload your logo in the root folder of Compositio theme and name it logo.png. You can also use the PSD Logo Template in the source folder of Compositio Theme. (Image limitations: No more than 590px/85px).

If you want to activate this option go to: Administration Panel > Appearance > Logo Options, and select logo type.

The theme is widget ready so you can use it as you like. Also we customized the CSS for the default widgets to match the site style better.
